The young United striker drew a brilliant reaction from most of his teammates in pre-season training.

There's only one thing more satisfying in football than pulling off a nutmeg and that's pulling off a nutmeg against one of your mates. In Manchester United's pre-season training that's exactly what Marcus Rashford did, and everyone was loving it.

Sure you can score a great goal, get a big win, finally grasp the one trophy that has alluded you but is there really anything with a greater triumphant feeling than getting the chance to shout 'megs!' at someone as you thread the ball through their legs?

Remember, if you don't shout anything when the ball is on the way through then it never actually happened. Image: PA

Of course instead of 'megs' you could always shout 'nuts' but that doesn't stop the moment being any more beautiful. It's the whole childishness of the move added by the fact that it totally embarrasses your opponent.

As a poor Sunday league player I was mostly on the receiving end of the move, although if I ever wasn't it was doubly embarrassing for my victim, but it even happens to good players and during a rondo in training Ander Herrera got done by Marcus Rashford.

It's fair to say the United players were pretty happy:

United are currently in America for their pre-season tour and are three matches in with a perfect record, having beaten LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake and Manchester City up to now.

Things should start to get harder for Jose Mourinho's men starting on Sunday night, UK time, the former Chelsea boss comes up against one of his other former teams in the shape of Champions League winners Real Madrid.

The two winners of the two European cup competitions will meet again in the Super Cup in September but Sunday's match will be Real's first of the summer and they will play without Cristiano Ronaldo and other players who went to the Confederations Cup.

Los Blancos then play City before their El Clasico meeting with Barcelona whilst United will next meet the Catalan side after they play Real.

No one knows if Ander Herrera will have recovered from his embarrassment by tomorrow evening.
