Crystal Palace announced yesterday that Dutch legend Frank de Boer was their new manager, with the former Ajax and Inter Milan manager signing a three-year deal with the South London club.
Then Palace almost immediately confused their new manager with his twin brother, Ronald.
As a follow up to the announcement of de Boer's appointment, Palace's social media team Tweeted a video chronicling de Boer's extraordinary career, which has seen the Dutchman lift a combined nine Eredivisie titles as a player and manager as well as a Champions League, UEFA Cup and a La Liga title as a player for Ajax and Barcelona, respectively.

The only thing wrong with the video was that a couple of the pictures used were in fact of Ronald, Frank's brother, who immediately took to Twitter to correct Palace's social team, while also enjoying some light trolling of his brother at the same time.

To their credit, Palace were quick to produce a second, more accurate video and have asked Ronald to cast an an eye over it to ensure they have indeed used the correct brother in their pictures.

The de Boers are some of the most successful brothers in sporting history, having won an accumulated 33 major honours between themselves as players and amassing a combined 179 caps for the Netherlands, reaching the semi-finals of the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 together.
Still, good for Frank to know that if there's ever any days he can't be bothered turning up for work he can always send Ronald in and no one will notice.
