If you happen to follow Romelu Lukaku on social media, you will have noticed that the Belgian striker fell victim to an Instagram hacking, earlier this week, with the perpetrator linking the Manchester United man's followers to a musician's Snapchat, Instagram and Youtube accounts.
As a result of the hacking, Lukaku's Instagram following stalled briefly, although he has since continued to amass thousands of followers after he regained control of his account. However, whoever was responsible for the hack still managed to have their fun in the brief time they were in control of it.
All the offending posts on the Belgium international's account were deleted, yet one post in particular caught the eye and, as annoyed as Lukaku undoubtedly was over the whole affair, even the former Everton man must have had a laugh to himself when he saw it.

Someone in control of Lukaku's Instagram had taken it upon themselves to have a bit of a laugh at Cristiano Ronaldo's expense, with the Real Madrid phenom sending a message to the Spanish FA in the aftermath of his five match ban for nudging a referee being upheld upon appeal.
The four time Ballon d'Or winner captioned his post, "One more incomprehensible decision. From injustice to injustice, they will never overthrow me.
"And as always I will come back stronger. Thank you to all who have supported me."

Only, 'Lukaku' didn't seem to share any sympathies with the former Manchester United man.
Is it witty or clever? Absolutely not. Is it utterly hilarious, though? 100 per cent.

Some people, however, were duped by the comment, believing it to actually be the Belgian striker.

Lukaku has since taken to Instagram to clear up the situation.
