Liam Gallagher Disagrees With Noel About The Fact It's Coming Home

The Oasis brothers can't even agree that England are going to win the World Cup. There's nothing these two don't disagree on.

Gareth Southgate's England team are on the verge of pulling off a miracle and they've already united the whole nation. But of course getting Noel and Liam Gallagher to unite is a miracle too far, even for this team.

Before the World Cup, I can barely remember such a time, when England still had rain and hadn't won a penalty shoot out in the history of the World Cup there were very few people predicting the Three Lions would win it.

We actually have two in this team who thought they'd go all the way but most were excited just to see England reach a quarter final and not be a complete disaster, unlike the previous tournaments.

But now we have a nation excited that it might be coming home. What started out as irony has become the mantra of the tournament. Unless of course you're Noel Gallagher who told the crowd at a High Flying Birds' gig that it wasn't:

Not exactly the most optimistic and upbeat of fans is our Noel, surprising considering his beloved Manchester City are Premier League champions after a record season.

However not one to go 'off brand' brother Liam has taken to Twitter to very much disagree with what Noel reckons:

The pair have been at each other for nearly a decade now, probably longer if we're being honest, but their band Oasis split back in 2009 and there's no sign of a reunion anytime soon.

Whilst every other band who have split up seem to be making a comeback the Mancunians continue to take shots at each other on social media and interviews whenever possible.

We might only have to wait till Wednesday to find out which brother is right. England face their toughest test yet against Croatia in the semi-finals, should they win then a final against France or Belgium awaits on Sunday.

If the Three Lions really bring it home then Noel will be left looking back in anger...
