David Beckham Makes Sure Zlatan Ibrahimovic Hasn't Forgotten About Their Bet

The bet was made before England's 2-0 win over Sweden in the World Cup quarter final.

Football fans will all be able to empathise with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, perhaps for the first time, with David Beckham making sure the former Sweden striker can't forget their bet after England's quarter final win.

We've all got friends who don't support the same football team as us, or at least we all should do because otherwise it would be bloody weird, and often those friends support a rival team.

When that happens it can often boil over into some wonderful friendly rivalry that includes outrageous claims and bets that we definitely shouldn't be making.

David Beckham and Zlatan Ibrahimovic were certainly behaving like your average football fan when they made a bet over social media on the England vs Sweden game on Friday:

Of course it would Ibrahimovic, who definitely wanted to come out of international retirement for the World Cup, who would regret making the bet with the former England man.

Harry Maguire and Dele Alli's heads made sure that the former Real Madrid winger wouldn't be taking a trip to Ikea but the LA Galaxy forward would be coming back to Wembley.

He took to his Instagram story to show off and make sure Zlatan won't forget their bet in a hurry.

If Zlatan was hoping that he could stay away from Wembley by just ignoring Becks then he was sadly mistaken.

Ibra's former teammate at Manchester United, Wayne Rooney, made sure the big Swede couldn't just mute Beckham by tweeting him after the final whistle:

Rooney has just joined Ibra in the MLS but the former Inter man doesn't have to worry about the former Everton frontman as DC United and Galaxy played a 2-2 draw just two days ago and they aren't due to play again this season.

Ibrahimovic will be at Wembley in the near future though.
