Werder Bremen 'Confirm' Harry Kane Signing On Twitter

Werder Bremen have signed Harry Kane.

Sort of.

Alright, not at all, but their social media team have been having a big old laugh on Twitter, 'confirming' that the Spurs striker has arrived at the Weserstadion, yesterday.

The video that accompanied the tweet, showing a mini-tornado tearing around the Weserstadion pitch, was of course the 'Harry Kane' Werder's Twitter team were referencing.

The gag is the latest in a long line of #FOOTYBANTZ dished out by Bundesliga clubs on social media, with many of Germany's top teams using the platform to crack wise with each other and indulge in the occasional bit of pre and post-match trolling.

However, if this is part of an elaborate process to announce the actual surprise signing of Kane, then we're all for it.
