Villa Savagely Troll Leeds Over Ridiculous New Badge With Brilliant Pro Evo Banter

Leeds United have been subject to cruel, yet hilarious, jokes following the unveiling of their new badge.

While the Elland Road faithfuls hate the new look, other teams are beginning to poke fun including their league opponents on April 14th; Aston Villa.

Thousands of Leeds fans have already signed a petition to change the clubs badge but it's subject to plenty of banter while it's around.

Football fans across the country instantly likened Leeds' new badge to something out of Pro Evo. And Villa have continued that running joke with a genius Tweet.

Villa host Leeds on April 14th, giving their fans an update on tickets sales while brilliantly renaming the clash to West Midlands Village vs. Yorkshire Whites.

Naturally, the 'Tweet of the Day' sent social media into overdrive. Here's some of the reaction:

As well as Leeds' Championship counterparts, Russian outfit Zenit St. Petersburg also took the piss.
