What's the best way to get over the loss of Kyle Walker? By starting a player in his position called Kyle Walker-Peters. Obviously.
The 20-year-old made his Tottenham debut today during Spurs' 2-0 victory over Newcastle United at St. James' Park and immediately became the main talking point of the match (apart from Jonjo Shelvey's completely needless red card, of course).
Needless to say, the jokes came thick and fast on social media.

And it wasn't just fans who were confused or suspicious about the new starter at right-back, with former Spurs striker and part-time football Twitter banter king Peter Crouch having his say on the matter.
Walker-Peters gave a good account for himself in the absence of Kieran Trippier, who was injured, today, but may make way for new arrival Kieran Trippier-Peters for next week's home game against Chelsea.

Not even sorry for that joke.
