Paul Pogba has rubbed salt into the wound of Jose Mourinho with a beautifully timed social media post following the Manchester United manager's sacking, just days after leaving Pogba on the bench.
Jose Mourinho's last game in charge of Manchester United was an embarrassing 3-1 loss to Liverpool with the Red Devils barely being able to put an attack together, other than the one goal.
Despite the lack of creativity in the side Paul Pogba remained sat on the bench for the whole 90 minutes with Mourinho deciding instead to start Ander Herrera, Nemanja Matic and Jesse Lingard and using Marouane Fellaini, Anthony Martial and Juan Mata as his subs.

It hasn't taken Pogba long to troll his former manager with a wonderful social media post on Instagram before quickly deleting it:
Mourinho and Pogba have had two fallings out this season. One came back in October and cameras caught them arguing at the training ground just 24 hours after the manager reportedly told the midfielder he wouldn't captain United again.
The second came recently with the manager reportedly calling his player a 'virus' on the club and relegating the former Juventus player to the bench.

Pogba has been on the bench for four of the club's last five games. He started against Valencia in the Champions League but was a substitute against Young Boys, Southampton, Arsenal and Liverpool.
In the final game he failed to get on despite the fact that Mourinho brought on two midfielders. Fellaini replaced Diogo Dalot at half time and Mata replaced Jesse Lingard late in the game.
There's a good chance that Pogba's post was a scheduled one and the timing of it was extremely coincidental, which would explain why it was hastily deleted, but there's no denying life at Old Trafford will be better for the World Cup winner now Mourinho is gone.

It's likely that he won't be the only player happy with the events. Anthony Martial had got back in Jose's good books but the winger is yet to sign a new contract at United whilst Eric Bailly and Alexis Sanchez are also amongst those to have fallen out with the now former manager.
Who will take over at Old Trafford and will it mean a return to the first team for Pogba?
