Many believe the highlight of the first 45 minutes between Leicester City and Stoke was a substitution. No, really it was that bad.

In one of the most unexpected changes of the season so far, referee Bobby Madley was forced off with a calf problem and was replaced by fourth official Jon Moss - Jamie Vardy's best mate.

As Moss replaced Madley, fans began to sing "you're not fit to wear the shirt" as he left the field of play.

It was by far the highlight of the opening 20 minutes - a sign that is could be last on the Match of the Day schedule, tonight?

Mark Hughes looked on as Stoke City defender Eric Pieters consoled the referee as he replaced Moss.

As you can imagine, social media couldn't help but take the piss when the first substitution of the game was referee Madley.

A personal favourite? 'You'd be raging if you had him in your fantasy football team.'
