So it seems that Sergio Ramos is a harbinger of doom or something like that. According to one preacher it's not the Real Madrid man's fault Mo Salah got injured but actually Mo Salah's fault.
I can't think of many one time injuries that have made such a big impact on football than Mo Salah going off injured in the first half of the Champions League final last weekend.
There was the time the whole of Brazil overreacted to Neymar's injury at the last World Cup, Benjamin Mendy and Ilkay Gundogan suffered similar fates for Manchester City and of course the time the British public were asked to touch a picture of David Beckham's foot.
But Salah's shoulder injury has taken on a whole life of its own from MMA experts explaining how Ramos meant to do it to outrage over Raheem Sterling's Ramos tattoo to a stream of information about whether or not the Egyptian will make the World Cup.

If he doesn't make it then it's his fault. Or at least that's the thinking of Kuwaiti preacher Mubarak al-Bathali.
The preacher reckons that because Salah broke his fast for football he's being punished, saying:
"Preachers who said it is acceptable for him to break his fast have also permitted other things."
The Champions League final came during Ramadan and before the final fans were concerned that the former Roma winger wouldn't be able to eat or drink in the build up to the match.

However Salah chose to break the fast, a smart move considering the fact he was about to play football, but Al-Bathali believes that the 25 year old should have only been able to break it for travel purposes, not to play football.
The preacher did at least praise the forward for being an ambassador for Muslims and changing the image of Muslims in the west and also for not joining in when his teammates drink alcohol.
Sergio Ramos will definitely be getting on board with this theory that the injury was a punishment for Salah, just so they can all get off his back.

Can't believe Salah would get himself injured like that!
