Erik Pieters Has A Hilarious Response To Bruno Martins Indi Yellow Card Confusion

Craig Pawson has committed an 'Andre Marriner' x 1000! Marriner was forced to apologise - not to mention from being dropped - for mistakenly sending off Arsenal's Kieran Gibbs instead of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain a few seasons ago.

But Pawson's refereeing exploits over the weekend is even worse. The idiot somehow got Erik Pieters and Bruno Martins Indi mixed up?!

How, just how?!

Pieters' yellow card from Saturday has been rescinded while the booking has now been transferred to fellow countryman Bruno Martin Indi.

And speaking after the game, Pieters said; "It was not a yellow for me. I wasn't even close to this guy." Via Stoke Sentinel.

He'll be happy to hear that the yellow card is no longer next to his name; "I don't know what they are going to do with that, but it was not a yellow card for me."

Before saying in jest; "We're the same colour and have the same haircut, so I think it's difficult to tell us apart."
