Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was able to beat the Manager he took over last night, beating Tottenham 2-1. It seemed that Solskjaer patted Mourinho on the head after beating him at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was able to take his Manchester United side out of their current dull form and go on to beat Tottenham 2-1 at Old Trafford.

Marcus Rashford put in an amazing display with two goals, hitting the crossbar, and barely missing a one-on-one opportunity.

However, it wasn't just Rashford's performance that caught the attention of the viewers.

After the full-time whistle and when both Managers were congratulating each other, Solskjaer seemed to pat Mourinho's head in an act that could be deemed patronising to the many.

Even though later on it was said that Mourinho returned the head-patting favour down the tunnel, it didn't stop many fans loving the action by Solskjaer in which he patted the Special One like 'he was a puppy'.

United won the game convincingly with two goals from Rashford, one from the Penalty spot. Rashford and Jesse Lingard also both had several chances to increase the lead but weren't able to capitalise.

Dele Alli brought one back for the visitors with an amazing touch inside United's congested box, before slotting a goal past David De Gea.
