Sergi Roberto produced heroics on the pitch and Icelandic commentator Gudmundur Benediktsson did likewise but in the commentary booth.

On Wednesday night, Barcelona did the unthinkable as they completed the greatest comeback in Champions League history after trailing 4-nil from the first leg.

Luis Suarez, a bizarre own-goal, Lionel Messi and a brace from Neymar gave the hosts a 5-1 lead before local lad Roberto popped up in the 95th minute to bag a last-gasp winner.

Sending everyone into euphoria including Benediktsson. And, typically, his reaction was brilliant. Listen to his commentary on the unforgettable moment below:

And who could forget his brilliance last summer as minnows Iceland incredibly dumped out England at the European Championships, producing this epic play-by-play:

Roberto, a La Masia graduate, secured Barca's passage to the Champions League, sending the 100,000 fans inside the stadium into a state of frenzy.

Not to mention the millions around the world glued to their screens. And the following morning, the Catalan-native couldn't quite believe what transpired.

"When I woke up, I wasn't sure if it hadn't all been a dream." The 25-year-old La Masia product told Barca TV via Dream Team.

(That feeling...)

In the dying stages of the game, a brilliantly composed Neymar lofted in a delightful ball into the box with Roberto getting on the end of it but he knew very little about it.

"I didn't see a thing until the ball went in. I could see that (Gerard) Pique hadn't reached it and I threw everything at it. It went in and we all went crazy."

(Roberto, and his teammates, reel away in celebration after the winner in the dying stages of the game)

"We could feel that the Camp Nou was buzzing. We could really feel the fans' support - I simply have no words to explain how it felt."

"I had always dreamed of scoring a goal like that and being a lad from La Masia made it all the more special. I've worked so long to do something incredible like this for my club."

It's a night the local lad will never forget! Incredible. And by the sounds off it, nor will Gudmundur.
