Where would some footballers be without Google?! Andy Carroll revealed that he used the search engine to find out his Liverpool teammates ahead of his move, but that doesn't compare to Odion Ighalo who has gone one step further.

Like so many players in recent time, Ighalo has swapped Europe for Asia following in the footsteps of Oscar, John Obi Mikel, Axel Witsel, to name but a few.

A fee of £20 million was eventually agreed between the two clubs as the striker completed his medical in London under the provision of the Chinese Super League's sides representatives.

The Nigerian striker will now call Changchun Yatai home.

But that's after googling to find out a little more about the city and football club.

Well, according to Sky Sports' Kaveh Solhekol.

Though not everything he says is true, look no further than Ravel Morrison who refuted claims he was demanding more money to ultimately move back to England with Queens Park Rangers.

Meanwhile, Ighalo joined the Hornets in 2014 after an initial loan deal from Udinese though they made the deal permanent following a rich vain of form.

Yet after two and a half seasons, the 27-year-old says goodbye to the Premier League as he becomes the latest to embark on the Far East movement.
