There's not a transfer deadline day that goes by nowadays where football fans don't fondly remember Peter Odemwingie turning up at QPR's training ground in a desperate attempt to secure a transfer away from West Bromwich Albion, only to be refused entry and sent packing back to the Midlands, to a chorus of boos from the Hawthornes faithful.
Three and a half years later and the Nigeria international is seeing the funny side of his January 2013 misadventure.
The forward is instead spending his day on the golf course rather than tear arsing down the motorway to London and, via some on point emoji work referenced his past indiscretions.

Given the way today's deadline is panning out, we wouldn't be surprised to see Odemwingie linked with at least half a dozen clubs before the end of the day.
