In what was one of the most unpredictable deals of transfer deadline day, Moussa Sissoko ended up swerving Everton to make a £30m move to Tottenham. It's a move that has, unsurprisingly, not gone down well with Toffees fans.
Sissoko had been set for a medical with Everton but when Newcastle also accepted a last minute, £30m bid from Spurs, the French international opted for North London, instead.
The collapse of the Sissoko deal capped off a miserable day for Everton, who also saw a club record deal for Porto's Algerian winger Yacine Brahimi fall through, with Sissoko a likely alternative until Mauricio Pochettino and co. came along. Some Everton fans took the news worse than most and immediately took to Sissoko's Wikipedia page to alter his profile to something much more offensive.

Sissoko should count his lucky stars that Spurs have already visited Goodison Park, this season as we can't imagine the home fans will be too thrilled to see him strolling around their pitch in a Tottenham shirt. Although, if the Frenchman continues his form from last season, Toffees' fans will probably breathe a huge sigh of relief that their club didn't waste £30m on him.
