Neil Warnock Went Full Neil Warnock In A Pre Season Friendly

It might only be pre season but that doesn't mean any officials are safe from the ire of former Sheffield United boss Warnock.

Neil Warnock doesn't really understand the meaning of the words 'friendly' as the Middlesbrough boss showed his usual angry side during a pre season game against Bishop Auckland.

Warnock is as well known for his ability to earn promotion as he is for his combative nature on the sidelines, usually with officials.

Back in February, the 72-year-old was caught giving the ref some strong words during Middlesbrough Under 23s' game against Leeds United's youth team.

And it seems that it's not just youth games that he's willing to lose his temper at, with footage catching him shouting at officials in a pre season game.

Boro beat Northern League Division One side Bishop Auckland 3-0 on Wednesday evening and Warnock showed his annoyance at the referee.

Warnock is now the oldest manager in the English top four flights, following Roy Hodgson's departure from Crystal Palace at the end of last season, but clearly he's lost none of his passion for the game.

Warnock's legendary temper was shown in a legendary documentary during his time in charge of Sheffield United.

In once scene he screamed at defenders Chris Morgan and Phil Jagielka and it was compared to Pep Guardiola's demeanour in the Amazon All or Nothing series done on Manchester City.

Some things never change!
