Karel Poborsky Looks A LOT Different Nowadays

The flowing locks seem like a lifetime ago

Karel Poborsky will be best remembered for THAT chipped goal in the quarter-final of Euro '96 for the Czech Republic against Portugal and of course for the lustrous, flowing locks he sported in the '90s as he graced the Premier League for a couple of seasons as a Manchester United player, picking himself up a title winner's medal in 1997 for good measure.

But fast forward twenty years and the Czech legend is virtually unrecognisable from his 1990's heyday.

Granted, the stunning barnet was lopped off not long after Poborsky made his move to Lazio in 1998 but even so, the fearsome beard the former Sparta Prague man has sprouted recently makes him look more like a Viking or a Wilding off Game Of Thrones than a retired footballer.
