Jesse Lingard Makes Special Request To EA Sports For FIFA 19

Jesse Lingard Makes Special Request To EA Sports For FIFA 19

Jesse Lingard isn't shy to speak his mind. He's pulled off some spectacular moments for both Manchester United and England, but he now has a new target in sight.

The United midfielder has called out EA Sports on Twitter, wanting the developer to up his stats in the upcoming FIFA 19.

Lingard's clip has him explaining to the developer why his stats should be far better than what they will be. This all happens while he's tying up his shoelaces and then shoots off into the distance thanks to his incredible running skills.

Don't take our word for it. Watch the video below:

"I'm telling you something now, yeah. FIFA need to up my physicality to 99 and they need to up my pace to 84," Lingard said.

"Nah, actually, 95. You know why? Because I'm rapid. And I swear, I'm probably fastest..."

A leaked image from FIFA 19 shared on Twitter shows how United's players will rank in the game, with David de Gea holding a 91 rating at the top and is followed closely behind by Paul Pogba at 88.

For poor Lingard, though, he has an overall of 82 and has the same rating as Ander Herrera, Fred, Antonio Valencia and Eric Bailly.

To put it into some perspective, Lingard was 78 rated in FIFA 18. If he doesn't receive his 95 pace upgrade in FIFA 19, at least he can take comfort in the fact that his overall has moved up by four points.

FIFA 19 drops on September 28th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

What rating do you think Lingard should have on FIFA 19?
