Football clubs often use the same chants for their own players, but Newcastle's Aleksandar Mitrovic song which Wigan have implement for Will Griggs has taken the internet by storm, and the Toon are annoyed.

Arsenal and West Ham fans will debate over the "We've got (Mesut Ozil/Dmitri Payet)" chant, while those particular ones never really sent social media into overdrive, unlike Griggs' chant. The chant is sung to the theme of Free From Desire by Gala, and has created a life of it's own with players and fans going nuts for it, including hilarious parodies.

The relegated club who will square off with Wigan next season, voiced their frustration of the song by taking to Twitter:

Unfortunately for the Geordies, Mitrovic's goals couldn't keep them up, he didn't enjoy such a prolific season though gained a cult like following for his aggressive nature. In contrast to Wigan, Griggs' 25 league goals saw the Latics gain promotion to the Championship, where the two sides will meet next campaign, culminating in a song-off, well, we hope.

For those out of touch, here is a rendition of the chant sung by his International colleagues
