Mesut Ozil has a bit of a reputation for not always turning up, something that even the police have noticed on occasion. Sunday's win over Stoke was his chance to reply to a joke in his direction.

There's no match that screams problems for Arsenal as much as Stoke away but weirdly there's no game that is likely to have the same nightmarish effect on the Potters as a trip to the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners' under Arsene Wenger have rarely enjoyed a journey north against a side known for the bullishness but then none of those sides have really enjoyed the journey south against such a football playing side, it's weird that the venue should change things so much.

This was proved yesterday. Earlier in the season Stoke had beaten Arsenal at the bet365 Stadium with Jese's goal separating the two sides. After the match Stoke police took the piss out of Mesut Ozil lack of performance:

Things haven't exactly gone well for Stoke since then and Paul Lambert's team look destined for the drop, even with the change of manager, although they are only three points from safety.

On Sunday they played Arsenal and did so well for so long but a late collapse saw them lose 3-0 with three goals in the last 15 minutes. Ozil took the opportunity to reply to the trolling

This history between Ozil's side and Stoke is well noted and fans were loving his reply:

Still though can't help but feel Ozil and his teammates will be mostly happy to see Stoke go down because they can't win in the Potteries.
