Marcos Rojo Attempts The Worst And Most Pointless Rabona Ever

Marcos Rojo provided one of the highlights of the night, in what was a dull Europa League game, with a dreadful rabona cross as Manchester United just beat Astana.

United were playing in their first Europa League game of the season and hosted Kazakhstan's Astana FC on what turned out to generally be a very boring night, save for Mason Greenwood's winner.

With little exciting going on Rojo took it upon himself to try something different, a cross rabona, but he only succeeded in hitting the ball straight at the opposition defender stood mere meters in front of him.

The Argentine full-back attempted his cross at 0-0 as United attempted, with little luck, to break down their Kahzak opponents.

Fortunately United were bailed out by Mason Greenwood, making just his second start for the team, as the teenager beat a defender inside the box with silky skills before embarrassing the keeper with a shot through the legs to make it 1-0.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer started a young starting XI and rested certain senior players but it was a poor performance generally, fortunately Rojo supplied some wonderfully hilarious entertainment.
