Liam Gallagher has taken to Twitter to explain why he isn't part of Sky Sports' Super Sunday coverage today.

Liam's older brother Noel has been drafted in by Sky, joining Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and co. for the big Manchester derby at Old Trafford in a decision that has garnered plenty of reactions.

And the former Oasis frontman, who is in the middle of a sold-out UK tour after releasing his solo album 'As You Were', didn't hold back when asked why he isn't in the punditry hotseat, conjuring the most Liam Gallagher response ever.

In fact, his whole timeline today has been utter gold. Here are some of the Tweets, which include him praising Jamie Carragher, calling Noel and former United player Neville "a pair of wankers" and saying if he was a pundit today, he'd be "pissing all over" G Nev if City score first.

Never a dull moment with LG, is there? The Sky Sports' analysis would have a whole new feel to it if he was involved later on today.

But it's Noel, fresh from celebrating his 10th No.1 album following the release of 'Who Built The Moon?', who will be present in the studio - and it's fair to say the move from Sky hasn't gone down too well on social media.

Surely Noel can't be any worse than the majority of Sky's 'experts'?!
