Jordan Henderson Is Really Pleased With Himself After Mo Salah Joke

Jordan Henderson Is Really Pleased With Himself After Mo Salah Joke

The Liverpool midfielder joined in with everyone's fun after the Liverpool forward scored against Bournemouth.

Just how long does it take to kill a joke after you've repeated it over and over again? Well if the Harry Kane jokes weren't already dead then maybe, and hopefully, Jordan Henderson has killed them.

I'll be honest I thought the jokes about Harry Kane claiming every goal and everything were funny at first, after the Spurs striker got the club to appeal a goal that had been given to Christian Eriksen and still doesn't look like the Englishman got near it.

The goal being given to Kane left him still in the hunt to catch Mo Salah at the top of the Premier League scoring charts and possibly give him a third Premier League top scorer award in a row.

Salah though clearly doesn't want to be caught and managed to extend his advantage over Kane once again by scoring on Saturday early evening against Bournemouth.

The Reds were 3-0 winners and perhaps could have won by more. Salah only bagged once but after the match Jordan Henderson 'joked' that the Egyptian had claimed all three:

And Lloris Karius was the next to have a go, taking to Instagram to congratulate his former teammate on the 'hat-trick:'

The goal was a lovely flick to the far post, over the keeper, after Trent Alexander-Arnold's absolutely perfect cross had found Salah, who perhaps could have had more on a personally frustrating afternoon, despite his one goal.

It didn't matter in the short term as Kane failed to add to his tally. Spurs faced Manchester City at home but couldn't take advantage of City having lost their previous three games.

Pep Guardiola's side won 3-1 with Christian Eriksen scoring Spurs' goal, that's Eriksen, not Kane.

This joke's as dead as the title race!
