James Milner Joins Everyone Else In Mocking Harry Kane

The not so boring Liverpool player has joined the rest of the internet in giving a cheeky did to the Spurs striker.

This one is going to run and run isn't it. James Milner is the latest player to join the mockery of Harry Kane and the Spurs striker getting the Premier League to overturn a goal in his favour.

Last weekend Spurs scored a goal that looked for all the world to be Christian Eriksen's. The midfielder floated a cross into the box that went straight into the goal at the far post.

That was despite the fact that Harry Kane was trying to get on the end of it but the ball seemed to evade the England striker and so Eriksen was the goalscorer.

However Kane is trying to win the top goalscorer award in the Premier League for the third season in a row and claimed he did get a touch on the ball so the club appealed to get the goal given to him and the Premier League did so.

That put the race between the Englishman and Liverpool's Mo Salah for the golden boot back on and led to millions of Harry Kane jokes and memes online. The Egyptian widened their gap on Saturday evening with a goal in Liverpool's 3-0 win over Watford and after the match James Milner took to Twitter to join in the joke:

James Milner's been great quality since joining Twitter, here's some other footballers infamous first tweets:

For once the former Roma man only grabbed the one goal as Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino grabbed the other two in an easy win for Jurgen Klopp's side.

However it was still a very good day for Salah as his goal, a brilliant flicked header over the keeper after Trent Alexander-Arnold's excellent cross, gave him the 40th goal of his season, an incredible haul.

The 30th Premier League goal of his season put the 25 year old just one goal behind the Premier League record for a 38 game season. That record is currently held jointly by Alan Shearer, Cristiano Ronaldo and former Liverpool front man Luis Suarez.

With four games left of the season you'd be mad to bet against him beating the record.
