James Milner Asks Fans Not To Tell Klopp Of His Big Night

The Liverpool midfielder has shown his hilarious side since signing up to social media.

They say the best wrestling gimmicks are the person's actual personality turned up to 11 so we can only assume that Liverpool midfielder James Milner would be a great wrestler, his character work on social media is second to none.

James Milner has always been a conventional if unspectacular footballer, often a Jack of all trades but master of none type who has never been too sure what his best position is.

For much of his England career he was deployed at right wing almost solely for his work rate. When the Three Lions had the marauding but not very right back Glenn Johnson in the side it was Milner's job to babysit Johnson's runs into the opposition's half.

So on the back of it Milner got the reputation, well that and because of his dour Yorkshire accent that suggested he'd only be content with some Yorkshire puddings in front of him, and so the social media account 'Boring James Milner' was born.

But now we have the real thing on Instagram and Twitter and he's really boring too but in a very purposeful and hilarious way. His most recent act was to talk about his big night of popcorn and ask followers not to let Jurgen Klopp know:

They say imitation is best form of flattery, so 'Boring James Milner' should be very flattered, if not a little annoyed.

Maybe Milner's gimmick wouldn't exactly work in WWE, although the promos would be bloody good.
