Gennaro Gattuso Gives Young Striker Patrick Cutrone Brilliant Advice

The AC Milan manager clearly cares a lot for his striker.

Gennaro Gattuso was nicknamed Ringhio during his playing days, meaning snarl or growl, and the Italian would happily start a fight with anyone. But as a manager he's clearly more of a lover than a fighter.

AC Milan and Italy's legendary midfields of the last decade had Gattuso in the heart of them. If Pirlo was the artist then his teammate was definitely the general helping to protect him and the defence.

Check out our video of some of Pirlo's best quotes:

Since those days Milan have been somewhat of a sleeping giant, unable to compete with Juventus in Serie A but also slipping behind Napoli and Roma in the pecking order.

They have gone through several managers since Massimo Allegri left in 2014 with Clarence Seedorf, Filippo Inzaghi, Sinisa Mihajlovic, Cristian Brocchi and Vincenzo Montella all giving it a go.

Montella was sacked early in the season and Gattuso took over but considering his moderate managerial career up to now it wasn't expecting it to go well but they've done alrite.

Despite spending a lot of money in the summer one of their standout performers this term has been Patrick Cutrone, the 20 year old has five goals in just eight starts in the league and Gattuso has given him some brilliant advice:

I'm not totally sure how much rest he'll be getting if he's making love all the time but it still sounds like pretty good advice from his manager. I hope Gattuso goes out with him and acts as his wingman.

Curtone has impressed his teammates with defender Luca Antonini recently saying, "He is proving that he deserves a starting spot within Milan's lineup. He is young and the club certainly have to give him a shot.

"Milan heavily invested on players like Kalinic and Andre Silva but it's Cutrone who is in top shape. He only needs one ball and he scores. He is so young so it's not the moment to compare him to other past players but he reminds a lot of Pippo Inzaghi."

All he needs now is someone to snuggle up to, don't we all!
