The former Manchester United player will stop Bale from playing golf during Euro 2020 because he wants the Wales forward to be focused on football.
The national team manager is concerned that swinging clubs could lead to a recurrence of one of the muscle injuries that have affected his career.
Bale, who has been criticised during his time at Real Madrid for being more interested in golf than football, arranges rounds during time off when on international duty.

His regular golfing partners in the Wales squad are Wayne Hennesey and Aaron Ramsey.
The Welsh winger came under fire in the past few Months from many Madrid fans for numerous antics of his regarding Golf. Most recently, Bale was caught posing, taking photos with a Wales flag with "Wales. Golf. Madrid. In that order" captioned on the flag.
Hopefully, Bale believes in the caption and puts Wales ahead of Golf for the upcoming Euros this Summer. Wales were drawn into Group A alongside Italy, Switzerland, and Turkey.
