One child told Martin Odegaard that he didn't want to be a footballer because he was scared of Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos.

Loads of kids dream of being footballers, and so do many adults in fairness, but only a select few will make it to any level, never mind the level of coming up against Ramos.

Children of the current generation will definitely have one less person to come up against, with one young Arsenal fan hilariously ruling out the life of a footballer.

On loan midfielder Martin Odegaard was involved in a virtual Q&A session and one fan revealed he didn't aspire to follow the Norwegian.

That's because he's scared that Ramos might break his legs, and that is totally understandable!

If anyone can understand what it's like to be tackled by Ramos as a child then it is Odegaard. The midfielder, on loan from Real until the end of the season, joined the club at just 17-years-old.

He went round several clubs in Europe before making the decision to sign for Los Blancos and part of his deal was to train with the first team when he first arrived.

The 22-year-old will have been coming up against the club captain ever since, and the 34-year-old's 26 red cards for the club, a record at the Bernabeu, suggests he probably doesn't hold back ever.

Odegaard's deal at Arsenal only lasts until the end of the season but he might not have to deal with the Spanish centre back too much longer.

His contract expires at the end of the season and he's been told by the club to take a pay-cut, in order to help the 13 time European champions pay Gareth Bale's wages, with the Welshman set to return from his loan spell to Spurs at the same time as Odegaard.

The World Cup winner has been linked with a number of clubs, including PSG, Manchester United and Liverpool and could leave for nothing.

According to one report, Ramos is considering United ahead of other options, after a conversation with David Beckham convinced him of a move to Old Trafford.
