Fan Has Started Thread On The Worst Food At Football Stadiums And It’s Hilariously Bad

No wonder they closed White Hart Lane after this hotdog...

Crushed burgers, incinerated pies and spaghetti hoops in jelly - football fans have been sharing their most awful match-day food experiences on social media.

"What's the worst food you have had at a football match? Here's mine," began the simple opening message, alongside a picture of a gigantic, Z-shaped sausage inside a tiny bun.

And on those words, unleash hell.

Football fans followed up with some of the most disgusting specimens of supposed food we've ever seen.

"My burger at Preston away," boasted one fan, sharing a picture of a squashed burger even Ronald McDonald would fail to love. Frankly, it looks like it's gone 12 rounds with a young Mike Tyson.

"White Hart Lane hotdogs," shares another fan with meat abomination on show. Little wonder Tottenham shutdown their stadium and opened a new one if this is what they were once serving up.

Of course, some of the offerings we have to question. Such as the repellent-looking spaghetti hoop jelly mould with a pile of sad, chopped hotdogs sat on top of it.

"I was offered this in the Executive Box at Goodison Park," reads the caption. Which is almost certainly not true of Everton - but the fact that someone, somewhere, served this as food is terrible enough.

A lot of the grub definitely has the authentic look of genuine football stadium food from our experience, however.

Cheese comes in for particularly harrowing punishment: either in thick, waxy slices or grated. But never, ever, properly melted over the chips or burger as it should be.

Also, the old saying that "even bad pizza is still pizza" (so essentially it's still good) is put to the serious test.

"Pizza in Bordeaux for the Wales-Slovakia game," shares one fan. Did they, erm, forget to turn the oven on?

Frankly, even the 'curry chips' at Maidenhead look preferable. Now let's end this before we refuse to eat ever again.
