Fleetwood Town Goalkeeper Lands Years Supply Of Free Pizza After Clean Sheet

What an incentive!

HE'S DONE IT! Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Chris Neal has only and gone and bagged himself a year's supply of free pizza.

Going into the FA Cup third round games, Papa John's, who sponsor Fleetwood, announced that if the Cod Army's No.1 kept a clean sheet against Premier League side Leicester City at the Highbury Stadium, then he would be entitled to receive a year's supply of their pizzas for absolutely no cost whatsoever.

Uwe Rosler's side claimed a deserved 0-0 draw to earn a replay away at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday and there was of course added incentive for Neal, who has started 2018 with a bang.

It's probably not the best diet for a League One player but if he feels a bit peckish and fancies a margarita, BBQ chicken or pepperoni pizza, it won't cost him a penny.

It's safe to say the sporting highlight of 2018 has already been achieved just six days in. Well played, Chris. If you fancy sharing some pizza anytime soon, give us a shout!
