A picture of Scott McTominay's physique has certainly got people talking but his teammate Bruno Fernandes wants the Scot to remember to do some ball work during lockdown as well.

McTominay has been impressing people more and more since making his debut for Jose Mourinho in 2017 and his physical development is certainly something that helped propel him into the first team.

Now he's looking absolutely ripped and like he's been using this period without football extremely will, posting a picture on social media that's caught everyone's attention.

And, whilst most people are just basking in the 23-year-old's improved physique, fellow midfielder Fernandes wanted to remind his teammate that he needs to remember to do some work on his football skill to.

Commenting on the picture the former Sporting man, who moved to Old Trafford in January, amusingly said, "Scottyyyyyy training with the ball is really important, don't forget that," adding a kissing emoji at the end.

Fernandes arrived in Manchester at the end of the January transfer window and has already had a massive impact on the team, improving their ability to attack and has already got two goals and three assists in five league games.

The pair haven't had too much opportunity to play together with McTominay only coming back from two months out injured at the end of February.

When football does return Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could have a full complement of midfielders at his disposal. Fred and Fernandes were playing well before the break, as was Nemanja Matic, McTominay had already returned and Paul Pogba could also be fit.

United, who are still battling to finish in the top four and sit just three points behind fourth place Chelsea, could also benefit from the return of Marcus Rashford.

The forward, who has 14 goals in the league this season, hasn't played since January 15th thanks to an injury, but the time off may have been enough to see him return to action when the league gets back underway.
