Patrice Evra Hilariously Checks What Graeme Souness Is Drinking After His Angry VAR Rant

The former Liverpool midfielder wasn't impressed with the decision to rule out Roberto Firmino's goal after a 'foul' on David de Gea.

Patrice Evra hilariously checked to check that Graeme Souness was only drinking water in the Sky Sports studio after he failed to accept the foul on David de Gea.

At half time in Liverpool's game against Manchester United the Reds were far the better side and could have been more than 1-0 up, especially because of their controversially overturned goal.

Roberto Firmino bent the ball beautifully past De Gea but the keeper had been fouled by Virgil van Dijk in the build up, according to VAR, but many thought the decision was wrong.

In the studio in the break Souness was very angry at the decision, leading Evra to check the Scotsman's drink was water and not something stronger.

Liverpool also had another chance ruled out after Georginio Wijnaldum was flagged for being offside as he put the ball past De Gea and into the back of the net.

VAR was also in the headlines in the sides' 1-1- draw back in October with the system failing to rule out United's opener when Divock Origi was fouled in the build up to the goal and Sadio Mane's goal was chalked off for a hand ball.

Was De Gea fouled?
