Demba Ba has brought memories of Steven Gerrard's slip flooding back with the most perfect response to a video on Twitter we've seen.

The former Chelsea striker had an excellent spell playing in the Premier League but is best known for the moment he capitalised on Gerrard's slip in 2014, as the Reds lost their lead in the league.

Ba reminded everyone of the moment when he replied to a video of someone slipping in a match, followed by the opponent giving the ball back, which had the caption "What would you have done?"

At the time it was the closest the Reds had come to winning the league title in a long time and they looked on course to winning their first Premier League.

Ahead of the game with Chelsea they had just three games left. Ba's slip and Iago Aspas' dreadful last minute corner, that was countered by Fernando Torres and Willian, led to a 2-0 loss to Jose Mourinho's side and but their title aspirations in doubt.

Eight days later they threw away a three goal lead to draw 3-3 with Crystal Palace and their title aspirations were taken away from them.

It looks like the Reds will finally get their hands on the trophy this season though, even if their season has stalled a bit in the past week.

Jurgen Klopp's side struggled past West Ham at the end of February but then lost three games in-a-row in three different competitions.

They lost in the Champions League last 16 first leg to Atletico Madrid before their 44 game unbeaten run in the league came to an end against Watford and they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Chelsea on Wednesday night.

Liverpool hearts may have been racing on Saturday afternoon as thoughts of throwing away the title from a 22 point lead started creeping into their minds.

Callum Wilson scored early in their game against Bournemouth to put Eddie Howe's relegation threatened side 1-0 up.

However by half time things were much calmer as Mo Salah and Sadio Mane put the title chasers 2-1 up and on course to get back in form, ahead of their second leg against Atletico on Wednesday night.
