Crystal Palace Fan Steals DT's Hat Then Hangs It From The Stand

The AFTV character had his hat stolen during the game at the Emirates in October and on Saturday afternoon it was hanging up.

A Crystal Palace fan showed off the trophy of AFTV's DT's hat during his side's game against Arsenal on Saturday, after stealing it back in October.

AFTV, formerly known as Arsenal Fan TV, certainly splits opinion with even other fans of the Gunners recently turning on the shows 'pundits' outside of a recent game.

Those who don't like them will revel in the fact that DT had his hat stolen outside the 2-2 draw at home to Palace back in October, after the north London side led 2-0, after just nine minutes.

With a large crowd listening to DT be interviewed there was clearly no way for the hat's owner to get near the thief and retrieve his hat.

However on Saturday afternoon it was in plain sight as Mikel Arteta's team travelled to south London for the return fixture against Roy Hodgson's team.

DT may have failed to see as much of the action as he'd have liked as he was probably distracted from the hat hanging from one of the stands, the one that was stolen nearly three months ago.

Whilst the Palace fans picked up the win off the pitch it was another draw on the pitch for Hodgson and his team as they shared the points with Arsenal for the second time this season.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang put the Gunners 1-0 up in the first half but they couldn't add to their lead and the hosts equalised in the 54th minute through Jordan Ayew.

The Gabonese striker got himself sent off with an 'ankle breaking' challenge on Max Meyer in the 67th minute, that VAR changed from a yellow to red card.

Aubameyang lost his head but at least he's no need for a new hat like DT.
