West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph has proved to be pretty handy in between the sticks for the Hammers this season, displacing Adrian as the first-choice shotstopper.

And it also turns out that he's a submission specialists of sorts and displayed his WWE talents in West Ham training recently.

The former Birmingham man was having a bit of a fun in practice and denied to put teammate Michail Antonio in the 'Walls of Jericho' submission - a move synonymous with current United States champion Chris Jericho.

He also then went for the deadly 'Tazzmission' that former ECW and WWF Attitude Era Tazz made famous back in the day, though Samoa Joe uses a similar version of the submission in today's WWE and it is referred to as the 'Coquina Clutch'.

And Jericho, set for a match with former best friend Kevin Owens at this year's Wrestlemania, responded to the Randolph video and gave his assessment of how the 29-year old performed this tried and trusted move.

Jericho posted the following brilliant message on Twitter:

You cannot beat the worlds of football and wrestling colliding, but you'd be wrong if you thought it was the only time the a WWE wrestler has interacted with a Premier League footballer.

14-time world champion and current executive vice president of talent Triple H tweeted about Kyle Walker after the Spurs right-back did his famous water-spraying spot back in October.

The Game also has a bit of a connection with West Ham, it seems.

He wished them well in the last game at Upton Park back in May:

As well as once pinpointing striker Andy Carroll as having the tools to succeed in WWE, NXT's head honcho also gave a message to Dimitri Payet back in January when emerged that the Frenchman wanted to leave the club.

Triple H's message to Dimitri Payet:

Chris Jericho vs Darren Randolph, book it brother.
