Roberto Carlos Gives A Hilarious Account Of Marcelo's Drunken Antics

Marcelo certainly enjoyed himself in the Real Madrid's Champions League celebration with Roberto Carlos recalling a hilarious story.

Cristiano Ronaldo's heroics for Real Madrid ensured they successfully defended the Champions League title, while becoming the first side in the modern era to do so, by beating Juventus 4-1 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

The Brazilian left-back then praised his teammate by giving him the ultimate complement, "I think Cristiano is the greatest Real Madrid player ever. What he's done in 8 years is something your mind can't just accept."

Back-to-back Champions League titles improved Los Blancos' ridiculous European trophy tally to 12.

Number 12 was a feature in Real's post-match celebrations which saw players donning t-shirts with that number. But Real's No.12, Marcelo, was so rat-arsed he was wandering why everyone was wearing his shirt number.

Legendary left-back Roberto Carlos who joined his former side in the celebrations revealed the state his fellow compatriot was in by claiming he was very drunk.

"Marcelo was absolutely drunk," Carlos told reporters via Calciomercato.

Before detailing the hilarious yet brilliant story involving Marcelo.

"He kept asking everybody why they were wearing t-shirts with the number 12 printed in there, he is absolutely crazy, he's not ok with his mind."

Marcelo has quickly become an integral part of Zinedine Zidane's side while being an unsung hero who continues to deliver from left-back.

But this story about Marcelo is one of our favourite things he's done.
