Brendan Rodgers Had Hilarious Response To Question About Loch Ness Monster And Lionel Messi

Brendan Rodgers faced the media this afternoon ahead of Celtic's do-or-die Champions League clash with Barcelona tomorrow evening - and ended up answering a question about the Loch Ness Monster.

The Hoops go into their penultimate group stage match knowing that, realistically, they have to claim a win either at home tomorrow or away to Manchester City in December to keep alive hopes of European football beyond Christmas.

Rodgers was asked to give his take on the mythical creature by a Spanish journalist in a confusing question that also referenced Lionel Messi and he seemed far from impressed:

To be fair, it's a pretty ridiculous question and we have absolutely no idea what possessed the journalist in question to ask it.

Messi might be superhuman but Rodgers and his players will be hoping they can keep him quiet for 90 minutes tomorrow.
