Damn pesky fake quotes! That statement which was doing the rounds which apparently came from Gabriel Jesus has fooled Mario Balotelli who believed that his celebration was actually attributed to his ex-girlfriend.
The comments basically implied she was a gold-digger who didn't answer his calls until he moved to the Premier League.
"My celebration was a message to my ex girlfriend who didn't answer my calls at Palmerias, but messaged me when I moved to City."

But that quote is fake and not from the in-form Brazilian.
(Jesus pokes in from a yard out to secure his side with all three points against Swansea.)
(Get used to this celebration, folks.)

Jesus' 'telephone' celebration pays homage to his mother, not his ex-missus. But Balotelli was completely unaware of this. The former City favourite took to Instagram to upload this brilliant post.
He posted an image of Jesus performing his celebration accompanied with the words; "bravo. SAY NO to gold diggers!!" Not to mention the bit which City fans will love; "By the way I miss these colours."
The Italian striker is currently in France with Nice, and is resurrecting his career bagging a shitload of goals while finally realising his undoubted potential.

Meanwhile, Jesus' exploits in the last few games is preventing Sergio Aguero from getting a game as his future has become subject to intense speculation.
Jesus has already scored three goals and created two in his first four City matches. We'll be seeing a lot of this celebration!
