Ashley Young has provided Manchester United fans with another reason to be cheerful, this weekend, following on from United's 1-0 victory over Tottenham at Old Trafford, yesterday.
The 32-year-old enjoyed an excellent game at left-back, but it wasn't the quality of his performance that will be remembered by anyone, it was the expert bit of trash talk he sent in the direction of Dele Alli during a first half dust up between the two England internationals.
The first 45 minutes were a pretty dire affair, with both teams struggling to take control of the game or create anything resembling the slightest bit of excitement. However, after a coming together near the touchline towards the end of the half, Young and Alli became embroiled in a war of words and almost a coming together of heads.

The two were finally separated, in no small part by Romelu Lukaku, who's appearance on the scene prompted Alli into thinking better of a physical confrontation and instead the former MK Dons youngster decided to hurl insults at Young, who fired back with the ultimate response.
The United full-back was seen to mouth the words, "When you win the Prem, let me know".

The Spurs midfielder had no comeback to offer the former Aston Villa man and his misery was compounded when he missed a glorious opportunity to open the scoring in the second half, just minutes before substitute Anthony Martial scored the winning goal.
Alli's performance was widely condemned on social media, yesterday, albeit too harshly, but Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping for better displays from the attacking midfielder in the coming weeks, especially if Harry Kane is to miss much more action due to his current injury.
