Free Football Console Game Set To Rival Fifa

New game to be released using skill-first approach and zero pay-to-win options.

A new football simulation game is coming. UFL, an all new console, has released an interesting trailer for the 'free to play' game developed by new wave videogame-creating collective Strikerz Inc.

The preview of the game, which can be viewed here, shows elements of the Olympic Stadium in London which allude to a partnership with West Ham United.

Where is release dates for Fifa and eFootball (formerly PES) have been announced, there is no current status on when the new game will enter the market. Interestingly, we know from a Strikerz Inc press release that the game will be free of charge and full of regular new features and updates with no mandatory payments or yearly fees.

An an introduction to the game, Eugene Nashilov, CEO at Strikerz Inc outlines the vision which could be seen as an early dig at rivals Fifa and eFootball.

"“We are football fans and passionate gamers — we have been playing football video games for years and we know exactly what people want to see in a football simulator. We want to reinvent football video gaming from the ground up, offering players around the world a revolutionary, exciting and fair to play experience.”

Its a bold statement to even come out and compete with the big boys, the game will use InStat to provide detailed data and up-to-date statistics for each player. The console UFL will launch with 5,000 licensed real-world players which you can recruit and poach in your own custom club.
