Manchester City were literally handed a penalty vs Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night, but many fans thought the referee got it wrong.
City went into the second leg of their quarter final with Dortmund as favourites, having won the first leg 2-1, but found themselves in trouble.

Jude Bellingham's first ever Champions League goal gave the German's the lead on the night and put them ahead on the away goal rule too, having scored in Manchester last week.
Dortmund held on under immense City pressure into the second half but in the 55th minute, Emre Can was adjudged to have handled the ball in the box.
The former Liverpool midfielder headed the ball onto his outstretched arm, which didn't seem to mean a penalty according to the letter of the law, but VAR still gave.
Fans on Twitter were not happy with the penalty being awarded, especially once Riyad Mahrez scored from the spot kick.
In the first leg City were wrongly awarded a penalty, when the referee felt a Dortmund player kicked Rodri in the head, but VAR proved it was a dive and overruled the decision.

More annoyingly for Dortmund was Bellingham having a goal disallowed in the first leg.
The referee felt the youngster fouled City keeper Ederson before he slotted into an open net but there was clearly no foul.
Annoyingly the ref blew his whistle before Bellingham put the ball in th net so VAR couldn't overturn it.
