Everyone Is Making The Same Point About Diego Costa's La Liga Return

The Atleti striker had an even more eventful league return than his match the other night.

There's only one Diego Costa, some would say thankfully, and after months out because of Atletico Madrid's transfer ban the Spanish forward really is back only the way he knows how.

Costa might have been one of the best strikers in the Premier League in the years he was in England, helping Chelsea to the Premier League twice in the three seasons he actually played, scoring 52 league goals in the process.

However despite all the goals he's scored Costa is just as well known for his temper and ability to rub everyone up the wrong way, combining those with goals made him who he was as a footballer.

Midweek he returned for the Copa del Rey, came on as a sub, scored, got injured and started a scrap all within seven minutes but on his La Liga return against Getafe on Saturday he went one better.

Costa had to get escorted down the tunnel at half time after an altercation, got a yellow card for a bit of an elbow, then scored his side's second and picked up a second yellow for the celebration and everyone was saying the same thing:

Sometimes it's really easy to become a parody of yourself, Costa just went peak Costa and you can't not love that!
