Jack Grealish could be in trouble with the police after reportedly ignoring social distancing and crashing his car after a party in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Pictures of a man who looks like Grealish circulated on social media over the weekend of the Aston Villa man in conversation with someone along with pictures of the crashed white Range Rover.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said the car crashed into two parked vehicles and would like to talk to the driver about the incident.

Reportedly the man involved in the incident left his details with a member of the public before fleeing the scene on foot before the police arrived.

A witness told the Daily Mail that the man at the scene was accompanied by a former Villa player and they had been leaving a building where Ross McCormack owns a flat.

The party is said to have gone into the early hours with a neighbour telling reporters, "The party had been going on all night. It was unbearable. The noise had only stopped a short while when, just after 8am, there were a series of almighty collisions which reverberated through the flats.

"Outside, Jack Grealish was stood next to his car rowing with a security guard. It was strange to see an England ace looking so unkempt and dishevelled. He looked unsteady and confused."

The incident ironically came just hours after the 24-year-old had taken to Twitter to implore people to stay inside during the current Covid-19 pandemic.

The statement by the West Midlands police said, "We were called to Waterside, Dickens Heath, just before 10am to reports that a Range Rover had crashed into two parked cars in the street.

"The driver left his details with a member of the public at the scene before leaving on foot, and will be spoken to by police in due course.

"Minor damage was caused to the parked vehicles.

"Officers are investigating the circumstances and anyone with information has been asked to get in touch, via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk quoting log 643 of 29 March."

Grealish will be seen as a key part to any chance Villa have of avoiding relegation when the season returns as Dean Smith's side's top goal scorer and assister.
