Chris Wilder's Sheffield United once again hit top spot in the Championship last night with a 3-1 away win over Burton Albion. However there was bad news as midfielder Paul Coutts left the field with a broken leg.
It has been an excellent season for Sheffield United so far this season. After six years in League One they won promotion back to England's second tier last season and they have taken to it brilliantly.
Right now they're in a battle with fellow former Premier League dwellers Wolves for domination of the league and their away win last night took them back above the Midlands club, at least till this evening.

Billy Sharp's brace was the highlight for the South Yorkshire side but there was also a real low light as midfielder Paul Coutts had to be stretchered off with a broken leg after a bad challenge by Marvin Sordell:

Incredibly the Burton forward escaped even getting a booking for his challenge. Whilst there was clearly no malice in the foul the forward clearly got nowhere near the ball and it is a reckless and dangerous foul.
On Saturday the club released a statement saying: "Sheffield United can confirm that Paul Coutts suffered a fractured tibia in Friday evening's victory over Burton Albion.

"The midfielder was stretchered off in the Sky Bet Championship encounter at the Pirelli Stadium.
"He will have an operation over the weekend but is likely to miss the remainder of the season."
Fans took to social media to wish the 29 year old well in his recovery:
