For once you feel like Jose Mourinho would actually quite like to be out of the headlines. The Manchester United boss' broken relationship with Paul Pogba is all over the news but there's another player whose felt the manager's wrath recently.

Jose Mourinho and Manchester United right now seem to be taking one step forward simply to take two steps backwards.

An opening day win against Leicester was quickly followed by back-to-back defeats against Brighton and Spurs. The Red Devils then got back into good form with three away wins in a row against Burnley and Watford in the league and Young Boys in the Champions League.

Just as things were looking up again for Mourinho's men they took two hits in a row with a draw against Wolves and the Carabao Cup defeat to Derby County, both at Old Trafford.

To make matters things worse there's been a breakdown in the relationship between the manager and midfielder Paul Pogba, one that was on pretty thin ice even before this week, with the Frenchman being told he'd never captain the team again.

Pogba reportedly has a band of fellow rebels but he's not the only one to get a stern telling off from Mourinho recently. According to the Daily Mail Marcus Rashford got a dressing down following the game against Young Boys.

Rashford played 69 minutes, nice, in the match and wasn't great but it wasn't his performance that caused him to get in trouble, rather it was because he didn't do a full warm down after coming off.

Mourinho then spoke about Rashford in a team meeting in which the boss singled out a few players for criticism, just after coming off the back of three away wins in a row. It's things like this that don't exactly enamour you to your team.

It's believed that there has been some concern in the club over the 20 year old striker's attitude since the summer, especially with the England international being frustrated with his lack of game time.

That frustration seemed to rear its ugly head when he was sent off against Burnley, a red card that cost him the next three games through suspension.

Does anyone like Jose at the moment?
