Manchester City Fan Creates Thread Documenting Jurgen Klopp's Excuses

Manchester City Fan Creates Thread Documenting Jurgen Klopp's Excuses

Jurgen Klopp's mood this week has gone from ecstatic to rather more annoyed after Liverpool failed to beat Leicester City on Wednesday night. The German found a new excuse to add to his collection.

On Tuesday night Manchester City were expected to beat Newcastle United and close the gap to Liverpool to just one point, ahead of the Reds game against Leicester 24 hours later, and they opened the scoring after 25 seconds.

At that point it looked like Pep Guardiola's side might embarrass their hosts but the Magpies came back to win 2-1 to everyone's surprise.

A day later and Premier League leaders Liverpool had the chance to open up a seven point gap over their closest rivals. Once again the favourites took an early lead but were pegged back, the Reds managed to hold on to a point at least.

Klopp blamed the snow on the pitch, although Liverpool chose to only clear one half of the pitch, saying, "You saw that the ball didn't roll really. If you then have the ball pretty much for 70 to 80 percent of the time it makes life really uncomfortable."

And once City fan pointed out it's not the first time that the former Borussia Dortmund manager has come up with an interesting reason for his team. Yes, our articles feature in a couple:

You just hope that Klopp is ready to pull out a ridiculous excuse about his side's training sessions being spied on by another manager or the dog eating his team sheet or something.

Which excuse is your favourite?
