Arsenal's Bukayo Saka is rumoured to be on the radar of both Juventus and Athletico Madrid.

That's according to Calcio Mercato, who suggest that Massimiliano Allegri and Diego Simeone are interested in the 20 year old, who has starred for club and country in recent months.

However, the report goes on to say The Gunners will not accept a bid any lower than £43 million, a fee which seems remarkably low for a player of Saka's quality and potential.

It's no surprise that two of Europe's biggest clubs are interested in the winger. Since making his first team debut in 2018, Saka has made 64 impressive appearances for the North London side and won the club's player of the season award last season.

However, by his own high standards, Saka hasn't had the greatest of starts to the new season and was disappointing in Arsenal's 1-0 win at Turf Moor on Saturday. However, his manager Mikel Arteta has faith that the winger will rediscover his form sooner rather than later.

"Well he hasn't had a lot of preparation physically," the Spaniard told Football.London after the match. "I think there are still things to improve there but he is trying hard. He is another one who struggled in the final minutes.

But it's great that he's able to suffer and somehow come through that and manage these difficulties and adversities during games where it is not really going for him. That is part of football. He had parts where he was brilliant and then he struggled and then he was brilliant again. That is better than being brilliant and then to struggle, struggle and struggle.

So it's part of his development and I'm really happy with him."

Arteta will hope that his side's recent upturn in form will galvanise one of his prized assets and turn Saka's season around. After losing their opening three Premier League matches to Brentford, Manchester City and Chelsea, Arsenal have picked up back-to-back wins and clean sheets, with their boss encouraged by the mentality that was on display.

"(It was a) really hard-fought victory at a place that is really tough to come and win," the 39 year old said after the match, as quoted by Evening Standard. "We have players that do not have the best qualities to play that game, but I thought they did terrifically well.

I think their commitment and the attitude that they showed throughout the game game to win and find a way to win was the most pleasing thing for me.

It builds confidence, trust and a belief that you can go through difficult moments in matches and still win."

Arsenal return to The Emirates Stadium tomorrow night for a League Cup tie with AFC Wimbledon.
