Liverpool Sign Takumi Minamino From RB Salzburg Per A Medical
Liverpool are set to sign Red Bull Sazburg's Takumi Minamino for a cut-price £7.5 million fee per a medical.
The Japanese midfielder has impressed in this season's Champions League and news broke this morning that Jurgen Klopp was interested.
James Pearce of The Athletic has tweeted that the deal is all but done and all that remains is the 24-year-old passing a medical.
As long as he passes his medical, Takumi Minamino will become a #LFC on January 1. Borussia Mönchengladbach, AC Milan and Manchester United among those beaten to his signature.
Fee of £7.25 million - effectively what Liverpool banked for selling Ryan Kent to Rangers.

Other clubs showing interest included Bundesliga leaders Borussia Monchelgladbach alongside Italian giants AC Milan.
Another interesting suitor was Manchester United but they were reportedly unaware of his release clause.
Liverpool fans are excited at the thought of a proper first team signing considering their lack of transfer activity in the summer.

Minamino to Liverpool essentially done and dusted for around €8 million. That is sensational business from them.
Looked fantastic in Salzburg's group stage games. Very talented player that will add quality to an already stacked attacking core.
