Liverpool are set to sign Red Bull Sazburg's Takumi Minamino for a cut-price £7.5 million fee per a medical.
The Japanese midfielder has impressed in this season's Champions League and news broke this morning that Jurgen Klopp was interested.
James Pearce of The Athletic has tweeted that the deal is all but done and all that remains is the 24-year-old passing a medical.
Other clubs showing interest included Bundesliga leaders Borussia Monchelgladbach alongside Italian giants AC Milan.

Another interesting suitor was Manchester United but they were reportedly unaware of his release clause.

The Mirror have also stated that the club's Sporting Director Michael Edwards has been locked in negotiations with the Austrian outfit for the last six weeks.
